Flip The Flow "Be B.I.G." “You’re more then you know, Flip the Flow” Do you ever find yourself comparing yourself to others? We all do. It’s called the comparison trap. When we can become unsatisfied because we live in the land of “ER.” If only I could be a little healthier, richer, smarter, better looking -er. Ok I made the last one up. Or we find ourselves comparing ourselves to others we view as less successful. At least I’m not like them. Both sides of the ditch can be unhealthy. I want to be the best version of me. So should you. You were never designed to be a copy, you were created to be an original, one of a kind. There is no one else like you. Thank God! We are too quick to conform to unhealthy patterns. Today let’s “Flip the Flow” “In order to become different we must do different”

Know thyself. We are more like human “doings” vs. human “beings.” Take the time to discover you. Try just being you. It looks good on you. You may have a hard time answering these questions, most do: A) Tell me who you are without telling me what you do. B) What am I most passionate about? C) What makes me different? “Similarity creates comfort, but it’s your difference that creates your reward” Invest:

Flip the flow. I know you’re doing a great job at either intentional or unintentionally investing in someone else’s dream. That’s kind of you. However like the saying goes, If you don't care of you, you can't take care of others. This is partially true in context. You can still take care of others whether or not your take care of others just not to your full capacity. By not taking the time to invest in yourself you don't just limit yourself, but others. Especially being in a position off influence or leadership. It’s called the law of the lid. You’re worth the investment

A) Be Intentional - Where must I invest? B) Why don't I invest? - Remove the excuses that remove your power to change. C) How would my investment in myself impact others?

Like the proverb says “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously I believe we were designed to be a river not a reservoir. As positive life giving things and people pour into you, you should pour out to others. Our society is made up of a lot of “reservoirs” What’s in it for me? Me first attitudes. We need more and bigger places just to store our stuff. I’ve been on many trips to third world countries where people have nothing, but yet are so happy. The idea of having more stuff will make us happier is a false reality. I’m totally cool with having stuff, I just don't want the stuff to have us. It’s what we do with the stuff that’s been giving to us. This includes our uniqueness, our gifts, our talents and our abilities.

A) What do I have that’s making me better, healthier, wiser or smarter? B) What could I get rid of that’s not bringing me happiness? C) What do I have to give that could benefit others?

About Me.

I believe there is greatness inside of everyone. I believe you were designed on purpose for a purpose and that It's your difference that creates your reward.
